And till now it is spreading.  Nearly 10 lakh people have been cured.  On the other hand, about 211533 people have lost their lives.  In our country of India, the figure of corona infection has reached close to 30 thousand.  And more than 7 thousand people have been cured.  On the other hand, close to 1000 thousand people have lost their lives.

What is plasma ?

Plasma is the yellow colored liquid present in the blood.  Plasma is left after separating red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets, etc.  Plasma is an often forgotten part of the blood.

White blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets are important for body function.  But plasma also plays an important role.  This fluid carries blood components throughout the body.  Plasma is the largest part of your blood.  It makes up more than half (about 55%) of its overall content.  When separated from the rest of the blood, the plasma is a pale yellow liquid.  Plasma carries water, salts and enzymes.  The main role of plasma is to carry nutrients, hormones and proteins to the parts of the body that are needed.  The cells also put their waste products into the plasma.  Plasma then helps remove this waste from the body.  Blood plasma also carries all parts of blood through your circulatory system.
